MCM’s Myeong-dong Flagship Store Wins &Award

ME:MCM, the new media platform of MCM Myeong-dong Flagship Store, planned and developed by Delussion, was selected as the winner of the User experience category of &Award sponsored by Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning.

‘ME:MCM’, the flagship store of MCM located in Myeong-dong, Seoul, has won the &Award in User eXperience section.

 

MCM, a premium Korean fashion brand well know for German craftsmanship, has been actively engaging global markets and communicating with customers around the world through various forms of marketing. One of the efforts is it’s flagship store located in Myeong-dong, the hottest shopping and cultural place in Seoul among foreigners visiting Korea. In the store MCM provides visitors with specialized experience by allowing them to take their selfie with the built-in camera. The captured image of the visitors is then transformed into customized and personalized Visetos pattern.

 

dilussion has taken a great care in making sure the captured user images naturally transform into the brand’s premium signature pattern. Simple and modern GUI design of the kiosk imprint an unforgettable brand experience to store visitors from home and abroad. Animated illustration for store tour added another layer of enjoyment to the store experience. The project is a result of collaboration with dilussion (http://dilussion.com), a Seoul based new media consulting company, which provided advanced level of technical consulting service. Thanks to them, the MCM space became truly innovative and interesting place.
